brief introduction

Knight Castle is commissioned and customized by a "senior player friend" in China, with a total specification of 165 centimeters in length, 58 centimeters in width, and 80 centimeters in height. It is designed specifically for the proportion of mythological legions. Due to the height limitation of the display cabinet customized by the friend, achieving a height of 120 centimeters will be even more impressive. We believe that the entire implementation process is divided into three stages.

In the early days, it took almost a month for Knight Castle to implement its design ideas through social media communication. From 3D production, slicing, carving, and testing samples, we spent a month together. The entire scene was divided into 48 pieces, and when viewed from a 180 degree angle, there were almost no flaws. Due to experience and lazy thinking, the entire scene did not subdivide each part, resulting in a weight of 80 kilograms. The calculation of this weight was based on the actual weight after adding gypsum filling.

In the mid-term, we used Phrozen MEGA 8k to print the final volume of components. As soon as this machine was launched, we purchased it specifically for large-scale scenarios. Unfortunately, without sufficient experience and understanding beyond the equipment manual, technical issues continue to arise. Resulting in a significant consumption of materials and time. As a result, we ultimately consumed 20 kilograms of 3D printing material, an 8K screen, and more than 30 isolation films, ultimately allowing us to successfully complete the entire Knight Castle. We spent another 4 months at this stage.

In the later stage, the painting and realistic setting work of Knight Castle was completed by the team's "浪味儿娇". After initially obtaining the entire scene, he first complained and criticized. (Due to incorrect bonding in some areas, the surface was damaged.) Then he actively put himself into work and repaired it first, filling it with gypsum. Then start painting and drawing work. The entire painting process was very smooth, with the addition of real grass, vines, and moss, making the entire scene more realistic. After nearly a month of repair, painting, and packaging work, the complete Knight Castle was successfully delivered to the hands of "senior player friend".
